The Collagen Connection was founded in 2017. The product it is built on is older: developed in 2002 as a wound-healing agent for hospitals and clinics, when physicians were searching for something to treat traumatic wounds, burns and surgical incisions that would speed healing, lessen scarring and absorb quickly and naturally. It solved that problem, and then it turned out to do the same for ordinary skin.

Years of research went into plants, extracts and other sources to find the best collagen in the world. Ours is grass-fed and organic, from a farm in California, condensed to a high grade and brought to an FDA-registered lab in the USA to be made in small batches, to order, with a three-year shelf life. Because the ingredients are fresh, the color can shift slightly between batches.
Applied to the skin, the science has been clinically shown to help with fine lines and wrinkles, skin tightening, evening out tone, rejuvenating texture and, of course, healing. We branded it so that everyone can benefit from the collagen the best physicians and medical spas were already using.

Trish is the owner and founder of both The Collagen Connection and North Shore Laser Center, which she opened in 2005 under the medical direction of Luisa Kontoules, MD, at Peabody Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before that she took a Master's degree in nutrition at NYU and spent ten years in New York City in wellness, health education, public health and personal training.
She moved back to New England to start her family and built the laser center around laser hair removal and medical-grade skin treatments. She wrote the Collagenizer NEO certification program, and she is the one who answers when you call about a bottle. More about Trish and the laser center →
