Spider veins affect up to half of adults. They are small damaged veins whose one-way valves have weakened, so blood that should push toward the heart pools instead and the vein webs out. They are rarely harmful, but plenty of people would rather not look at them — and getting rid of them is easier, safer and faster than it has ever been. Moles and skin tags are just as common, and just as removable.

Spider veins on the legs
The purple webbing behind the knee, the thread veins on the thigh. Laser closes the vessel and the body clears it over a few weeks.
Broken capillaries on the face
Around the nose and on the cheeks. Same idea, smaller and faster.
Cherry angiomas
The small red dots that appear on the trunk with age. One pulse each.
Moles
Once a dermatologist has told you it is nothing to worry about and you still do not like it, that is reason enough. The average adult has ten to forty.
Skin tags
Neck, underarms, eyelids, under the bra line. About half of people get them. Gone without cutting.
Rough, raised spots
Seborrheic keratoses and the like — the ones that catch on a towel. Cleared the same way, after a look.

A look, and for moles a letter
We look at the vein or the spot. For any mole you need clearance from a dermatologist first — it protects you, and we will not skip it. Skin tags and cherry angiomas do not need it.
Veins
A series of pulses of light along the vessel. Minutes for a small area. It feels like warm snaps; the vein darkens or disappears on the spot and fades over the following weeks.
Moles and skin tags
Numbing cream, then the plasma pen: a tiny arc of controlled plasma energy removes the tissue without a blade. A small dry crust forms and falls away in about a week. Usually no scar.

Mole and skin-tag removal is priced each. The mole on your cheek and the cluster of tags under your arm are different jobs, and you will know the number before anything happens.

Do I need to see a doctor first?
For a mole, yes — every mole must be cleared by a dermatologist before we touch it, no exceptions. It is a quick appointment and it protects you. Skin tags, cherry angiomas and spider veins do not need clearance.
Will the vein come back?
That vein, no — once the vessel is closed and cleared it is gone. New ones can form over the years, particularly if they run in your family or you stand all day, and a single visit handles them.
Will mole or skin tag removal leave a scar?
The plasma pen leaves a small pink mark that fades over a few weeks, and in most cases no scar. It is one of the reasons we use plasma rather than cutting. Sun protection on the spot while it heals matters.
Can you treat veins on the face?
Yes. Facial capillaries are smaller and faster than leg veins, and people are often startled by how quickly they go.
