What is collagen?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It is in tendons, ligaments, skin, muscles, bones and blood vessels, and it is what gives skin its structure. Production falls with age, which is where fine lines, dryness and sagging begin.
Why grass-fed bovine collagen?
Bovine collagen is a naturally occurring protein from the connective tissue, bones, cartilage and hides of cows, and it is very close to the collagen in our own bodies, so skin absorbs and uses it efficiently. Grass-fed and organic means the animals were raised to strict standards: no antibiotics, able to forage and feed on greens, and never confined like factory animals. That is what makes the raw material better.
What does bovine collagen do for skin?
Type I and Type III collagen decline naturally with age, which encourages wrinkles, dries the skin and dulls that dewy look. Applied topically, our collagen helps the skin enhance and repair that depletion: firmer, better hydrated, more even.
Where is Collagen Connection collagen made?
The collagen comes from a grass-fed organic farm in California and the products are made to order in small batches in an FDA-registered lab in the USA, so you get the freshest product with a three-year shelf life. Because the ingredients are so fresh, the color can shift slightly from batch to batch.
How long until I see results?
Results vary, and consistency matters more than anything with any skincare line. Used as directed, most people notice a difference within 30 days.

What skin types can use these products?
All skin types can use all of the products. If you are concerned about an allergy to any ingredient, patch-test behind the ear or on a small area of the body first.
What are antioxidants and why do they matter?
Antioxidants are molecules that neutralize free radicals: unstable compounds produced by normal metabolism and by sun, pollution, stress, alcohol and smoke. When free radicals outnumber antioxidants the result is oxidative stress, which damages cells and speeds up aging, much the way oxidation makes rust. Antioxidant ingredients bind to those molecules, reduce their damage and help repair what has already happened. Your skin is your largest organ; this is how you look after it.
Can I buy these products at North Shore Laser Center?
