What it is, and why we chose it.
Plasma is the fourth state of matter — an ionized gas. The pen creates a tiny, controlled arc of it just above the skin, which sublimates a precise point of tissue without cutting and without heating the surrounding skin. The body responds with collagen remodeling; the surface heals cleanly under a small dry crust.
Patricia Cregier earned her plasma certification with Louise Walsh herself in 2017 — the Plasma Pen is the device the technique was built on. Will it leave a scar?
The pen leaves small dry crusts that fall away in about a week and pink marks that fade over a few weeks. In most cases no scar — that is the reason to use plasma rather than a blade. Sun protection while it heals matters.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream first; then a warm, prickling sensation. Small areas take minutes.
Why does it matter that Trish trains other providers?
